Retired NBA legend Dennis Rodman broke down in tears during a televised interview saying President Donald Trump was 'proud of him' for his role in helping to enable the historic meeting with North Korean ruler Kim Jong-un in Singapore on Monday.
While wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' hat, Rodman became emotional during an interview with CNN. [snip]
In the bizarre interview, Rodman lashed out at former President Barack Obama.
'It's a great day. I am here to see it. I'm so happy,' the former star power forward said.
'And Obama did not give me the time of day.'

I’ll be blunt: always thought Mr. Rodman was an attention seeking dictator pandering scumbag.
Looks like I may have been wrong. Seems like President Trump (still not tired of writing that phrase) believed there was more to Mr. Rodman than that per the WH communication with him - as opposed to Obama blowing him off.
If something good comes out of this, I actually believe Mr. Rodman should share part of a Nobel Peace Prize that will inevitably follow.

I think the interview with Dennis rodman was probably the most devastating interview given for Obama and the demacrat party, where was the intelligence agency in all of this . Minimum he should of been debriefed by the CIA and his story evaluated by the agency....this is what is called a real back channel opening and the CIA director whom the buck stops with did not even interview him for intelligence if I read what happen right. and when he used his connections to talk to the president and to Hillary he was ignored. I predict a loss off pulling numbers with African Americans over this and a 10 percent jump in polling for President Trump.
Good job, Dennis Rodman! Most people have no clue as to how difficult it was to discuss basketball with the North Korean leaders without letting conversations be turned in other directions. Great courage! Most excellent! Thank you!

Without a doubt, the mortified look on Chris Cuomo's face as Dennis Rodman of all people completely schooled him.
The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to believe that God used Dennis Rodman. I cannot think of any other explanation that holds up to reason.
So, does Rodman deserve a share of the Pulitzer Prize for Peace that Trump will get?
I would think President Trump will award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award we have.
