Android malware is infecting Amazon Fire TVs and Fire Sticks

I've had an Amazon Fire TV for about 4 years and never had a problem.
But I've never messed with the device.

My only real complaint is that I got the CBS "All Access" about 18 months ago and it it now ain't (all access.)

What was advertised as access to all CBS TV series going back forever ain't (all access.)
Amazon just provides access to the last month. Sucks royally. Gonna dump it.

Replaced a first generation Roku box with a Firestick for our streaming videos and haven’t had any problems. We tried Apple TV, but for the money Firestick is a great option and even has voice command. Waiting for a new all fiber optic ISP to extend to our neighborhood and will drop cable all together for streaming services using our Firestick.

Could be propaganda to keep you from pimping out your fire stick to access pirated content.
