To all Freeper parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles - if the Cathy foundation has a week long Winshape day camp in your area (usually held at a large church), please sign your kids/grandkids up for it - my son has gone for several years and always has a blast!

Good synopsis.
One thing several stores are doing is identifying the good and trustworthy employees and rewarding them.
My son was one of them. They changed his job description up a little and boosted his pay. I think he went from $9 to $13 an hour.
He was the guy who would work wherever he was needed, would take extra shifts if they had a hole, showed up on time, every time and actually enjoyed wearing the cow costume.
The owner would take high school graduates to a special dinner and also had some Sunday afternoon team activities. Bowling and Paintball come to mind.
My son resigned last week so he could volunteer at a Christian summer camp for several months. When he gets back, he has a truck driving job lined up. He got his Class A CDL last month.
CFA asked if they could keep him on the payroll when he gets back for special event stuff.
