This morning I was thinking about the historic summit in Singapore and it got me to wondering this.

President Trump not long after being elected met with Dr. Henry Kissinger. What was talked about is not known as far as I know.

We do know that Trump has been thinking of how to deal with North Korea for at least 20 years. There is a clip of Trump on Meet the Press talking about this with Tim Russert.

I believe President Trump had been thinking about and then took a page right out of the Nixon-Kissinger Playbook on dealing with North Korea in the context of trying to make a meeting happen.

I also believe that President Trump has been quietly consulting with Dr. Kissinger on how to make all this happen.

Why not get the input of maybe the greatest Secretary of State of all time, at least during his time in office, and make use of his expertise?

Of course from what I could see no one in the MSM even speculated on this at all nor made any real comparisons of Kissinger going to Beijing and Pampeo making those secret trips to North Korea and the possibility of there being a a active back channel to Kim Jong Un for at least the last several months.

So I throw this open for discussion and speculation. My own personal view is that President Trump has been talking to Dr. Kissinger and enlisted his invaluable experience and help.

President Trump probably talked to a lot of people including Dennis Rodman. Then he makes his own decision.

I like how Rodman said the other day Obama never contacted him. Absolute proof 100% that Obama had absolutely no interest whatsoever in freeing Otto Warmbier. Mofo never even tried, instead he told the Warmbier family to be quiet.

Well grand son of Dr. Kissinger, my answer would be NO.

Kissinger = No.

Rodman = Yes.

And as long as we are thinking outside the box, why not appoint Rodman as Secretary of State?

He certainly is better qualified than the Hildabeast or John F’n Kerry.

Kissinger is not the only expert in Town. Talk to him about the Summit? I doubt it.

Not sure who Trump went to for advice on this particular summit. Maybe no one. One thing Trump has been getting right is to make sure Kim is allowed to save face. This is important in these cultures. Make those you are negotiating with believe they got a good deal. Of course Trump has been doing that all his life.

Giving up these war games was low hanging fruit and made Kim feel like he won something. So was meeting Kim one on one and showing respect without resorting to Obama-style groveling. Trump struck the perfect balance. We shall see how this plays out.

Maybe. But given your way of deciding this, I suggest you don’t gamble at a casino.

Mostly, over the years, he self-importantly takes credit for what others have done.

If Trump actually met with — or even talked by phone — to Henry Kissinger, that would be an obvious impeachable offense.

The MSM-Democrats

Or a QIIJI BOARD?

I hope to God not. Kissinger is a failure and a swamp creature. After the "Paris Peace Accords" he should have slunk away in obscurity.

The USA got played bad. Starting in 1968 and ending in 1973:

"Paris Peace Accords" essentially negotiated the surrender of the Republic of South Vietnam, and by proxy the good old USA, all the while allowing North Vietnam to continuously strengthen its own military muscle.

Six years? Presdient Trump would have ended that sham after six hours.

Well at least Kissinger was able to regularly chow down on Escargots à l'Alsacienne, so it wasn't a total waste …

Trump probably called Kissinger up and asked: "Did you by any chance advise Clinton or Obama on North Korea?"

"Why yes I did."

"Okay. Thanks. That's all I needed to know."

So how long did Kissinger talk with the NV to get a treaty that was violated from the start and failed with in 3 years. I am not sure I would want a lot of that help.
