When Richard Nixon returned to Washington after his historic 1972 trip to China, he was welcomed with strong support from Democrats.
“From the initial Congressional reaction, it was apparent that the President, home from his China trip, would find broad bipartisan support for his move toward closer relations with Peking,” The New York Times reported on Feb. 29, 1972.
Even Democratic Senate leaders Edward Kennedy and Mike Mansfield praised Nixon’s diplomatic gamble.
Forty-six years later President Donald Trump took a similar political risk in agreeing to the first ever summit with a North Korean leader. Cautious optimism emerged from the summit that peace on the Korean peninsula may finally be within reach 65 years after a truce silenced the guns of the Korean War.
But instead of the support Nixon received from the opposition party, Trump has been blasted by Democrats, who’ve put any prospect for peace behind their partisan quest to regain power.
“It sure looks as if President Trump was hoodwinked in Singapore,” wrote liberal New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristoff on Tuesday. “Trump seemed to believe he had achieved some remarkable agreement, but the concessions were all his own.”
“Kim seems to have completely out-negotiated Trump, and it’s scary that Trump doesn’t seem to realize this,” Kristoff wrote.

They need to be swatted like a fly in mid-air. Trump is the only one to do it. Mark Sanford lost because he could only diss Trump and not this crap.
The Democrats won’t be happy until they destroy this Republic and become part of the one world government.
I do believe Eisenhower warned about this. It’s the military industrial complex PDJT has taken on, not NKOR who he’s trying to seduce into a more vigorous capitalist country. Look at China. The people are happy, the politicians are happy, businesses thrive, millionaires made and perhaps a billionaire. It’s not the hidden Kingdom. But I do feel sorry for Tibet.
Democrats love dictators whether they be communists, fascists or black racists. They yearn to set up a dictatorship in America, but armed citizens scares the crap out of these liberal weenies. They know that they’ll decorate lampposts from sea to shining sea if they press the wrong button.
2A is the only thing between us and the left. We may win some elections, court cases and hold some ground but they got most of everything else besides our right to defend ourselves and protect and preserve the Constitution.

We have more than that. We have constitutional, pro-2nd amendment elected sheriffs. I have one in my county.
He’s thrown two police chiefs out of the county who were abusing citizens. He’s tossed eight democrats who were stealing county money into state prison. He can also muster 2,000 armed reserve deputies for “emergencies.”
Fixed. To them, all that matters is the Party.
The reason for democrats being so anti-Trump, to the point of being anti-American, and even to the point of allowing our enemies to get the upper-hand on the U.S., and also to the point of having Americans lose jobs and companies to close...

Democrats BIGGEST FEAR is to become irrelevant...
and Trump is the one that could make it happen.
Therefore, Trump is their BIGGEST enemy, and they will do whatever it takes to take him down...
including having the enemy succeed and the country fail, economically, culturally, militarily...
It’s “F” Trump at whatever the cost.
