Had a friend who was married to a famous South American film director. She was crazy about him, but she finally divorced him, because he would not stop sleeping with other women. He begged her not to divorce him, telling her, “Please don’t leave me. Those other women mean NOTHING to me; I only love YOU!”, but she just couldn’t stay in a marriage like that. Lucille Ball left Desi for the same reason, and he pleaded with her, the same way. What is it with Latin men? My guess would be, “like father, like son”, but I do know of cases where that chain is broken.
