In fact, longer video shows other children also stopped to gawk & touch the statue. No surprise! It was just a matter of time before it fell. “Art in public places”, especially in such a busy family community center, should certainly be better secured. The artist should have overseen its secure installation, esp since he says it is only “on loan”.
