Blogger is a pejorative because the media (and the blogger) employ the Appeal to Authority fallacy. If it's written down it somehow gains validity. Basic psychology of the attribution error.

And if blogger isn't a pejorative, what relevance does it have here? Obviously, the piece includes that information as a veiled - or unveiled - threat that negative publicity will follow. And, on cue, a television station reaching tens of millions has picked it up.

But I'm afraid my point stands. None of us can enjoy things in peace when we have scolds tapping us on the shoulder - metaphorically speaking - to tell us all the bad things that might result. It's insulting, it's pervasive, and it makes a number of assumptions which I will continue to challenge and oppose.

Your “point” is pointless. An individual with a particular interest began pointing out something relevant to that interest, to people with the same interest. No need for you to get in a twitter about it.
