She does dress modestly according to US standards but it seems immodest per muslim brotherhood standards.

Taqiyya
Two reasons I can think of...
Muslims are, perhaps, the most hypocritical group of people on the planet. Right up there with liberals, which could be why the two “love” each other so much.

There’s three main factions of the MBro… all factions wanting an Islamic caliphate to rule the world. There are those who followed Azzam, and those who followed Qtub. But there’s also another more recent faction. The third faction is led by Qaradawi [see the BOSTON CELL] of Qatar. It is the Islamic equivalent of the Clinton “Third Way.” They are to the MB what Progressives are to communism. This may be Abedin’s family’s faction.
This faction is superficially “reformist” with regard to women’s rights, etc... they believe in a slow march through the institutions and legal acquisition of power where possible and where their ultimate victims allow it... though they approve of violence should peaceful means fail.
