That’s an awesome niche for “boutique” website though!
I don’t think I even watch TV anymore. Can’t even remember.
I liked The Crossing , The Brave, The Last Man on Earth
Sigh 12Monkees. Awesome story line.
“Surprised at how few of these shows I not only never watched but never even heard of.”
Same. I looked at the list, and I don’t think I’ve watched any of them.
At least “Lucifer” managed to survive...barely.
I’ve finally started watching “Code Black” and am really enjoying the show.
Naturally CBS has decided to cancel it.
“Surprised at how few of these shows I not only never watched but never even heard of.”
probably is an indication as to why those shows failed: folks like you and I don’t watch them ...
i did watch hap and leonard and thought it was good show ...
The Americans was the best on that list
Last TV series I watched was "The Americans", and "Justified" before that.
It is a desert know, so my wife gets to watch chick flicks on Netflix while I read.
There was a time, back when cable networks were fewer, and my life taken up by working and raising two sons, that I never watched television...not even the news. When the Gulf War began, I watched the only cable news program...CNN. Fast forward many years...Time Warner finally came to my area, along with DVRs...and Fox News. I watched Fox News religiously, until the night they called Florida for Gore, and then I watched it less and less. I stopped watching all together after Obama got elected...no network/cable news period. I retired, and decided to start recording some of the programs I thought I’d like. After 15 years of retirement, and watching network TV shows come and go, I’m getting back to losing interest in watching most TV programming. Most new shows are based on old ideas, packaged in a different way. And I can’t stand seeing the same actors who show up on a new series after their old series was cancelled in its first season the year before.
The only premium channel I subscribed to was Starz, and I cancelled that when they cancelled Ash vs. Evil Dead. It was about the only program I watched on that network.
About the only other program that I was surprised to find out was cancelled, was “Scorpion.” I had hoped someone would pick that up, but sadly no one has.
I get a lot of British programming off UK torrent sites. The Brits do great documentaries, historical dramas, and mysteries. Some eventually show up on Netflix, BBC America, etc.
I watched the Librarians and the early seasons of Once Upon a Time. I also think I watched the baking show when there was nothing on and I needed the noise. I think that’s it.
Sad to see Finding Bigfoot cancelled. Great TV ;)
Last Man on Earth deserved it.
It was billed as a comedy. How was it funny? I must have missed the funny episode.
The story line was morons leading morons.
I don't find it funny watching stupid people doing stupid things. At least scripted wise.
Unscripted Youtube stupid is another matter.
We had watched a few and saw the liberal pcism and pushing of the gay is wonderful life style destroy shows, like Major Crimes.
Quantico lost us in its the first season with 120 #er females? becoming the heroes in impossible plots. Knowing the grim and crappy reality of the real FBI made it impossible.
Scorpion started jumping the sharks, more than just one shark, per show last year. 150 IQ nerds in real life can’t handle every emergency!
We still watch Blue Bloods and Hawaii 50.
Last June, we cut our cable and watch some CBS shows above, zip on other nets and a lot of Brit serial shows from A-Z.
We cut our cable last June and use Sling Blue as our provider and ESPN, ABC and Disney are not options. Also our Comcast Business bill is a little over $100/month. The same regular Comcast monthly bill in our neighborhood is now $300/month after the first year.
We watch Zero news from any local or national channel. Zip NFL and zero weather is killing us shows.
My wife has to think of what she can put on my honey do lists with no NFL or news and crappy PC tv shows, I can keep up now.
Never heard of most of those and didn’t watch most of those I did hear about. I DID, however, get a kick out of (not) Finding Bigfoot, and Mr S & I enjoyed Fixer Upper.
Year Shows cancelled 2017 114 2016 147 2015 160 2014 159What does this mean? Beats me. I quit watching TV 10 years ago. Don't miss it.
I only watch British shows, so only a couple surprised me - Doc Martin in particular.
Last Post was good. That one’s a shame.
I don’t subscribe to Youtube Red but Cobra Kai was very well done as a Karate Kid spinoff series picking up with Johnny and Daniel’s lives and almost role reversals in social status.
