" Rule of thumb, if you’re rooting for the villain, it’s a bad movie!"

I rooted for Chas over Jason Melon, and the movie was fantastic!

Bay and Jackson are going to collaborate on a new feature film.

They are finally going to bring exploding lens flare to the movies.

All the Jurassics have the same exact plot. You either like like them or you don’t. I enjoy them. The latest is more of the same. I hate Star Trek and Star wars. To each his own.

The last one was pretty good. The bad nanny was swallowed whole by a dinosaur fish, and in the end, the guy got the girl. Good popcorn movie.

Recently some story came out that in a cut scene the female lead (I guess), some hispanic woman I think, for no apparant reason leans over to Chris Pratt and says something to the effect "You know I'm a lesbian, right?" The actress said (paraphrasing) "well, I understand why they cut it. Our characters had just met and it didn't make sense for that to be said there, plus it didn't really affect the story".

So it served no purpose and didn't make sense, why was it there in the first place? Well in the middle of an action / adventure movie it's important to have a main character saying "Hello, I'm a Hispanic female so I'm an extra divers girl-power character. But before we meet I want to make sure the audience knows that I'm even more diverse than that. I'm lesbian too!" Virtue signal bonus points x 3.

They're fun movies and I don't detect to much liberal Horseshit! I don't know what “Fresh Idea” Reed is expecting. More than likely a reference to how Donald Trump is destroying the planet and Hillary was screwed!!!

I hate to admit it, but I really enjoyed the movie. I give it a 3 out of 4.

That said, I get why critics are bashing it so mercilessly. It has a great premise, decent characters, great special effects, intense atmosphere, suspense...

But it has some unbelievably stupid plot holes and dumb character decisions in the final act. They didn’t sink the movie for me, but would for other people.

It deserves points for ambition but not execution. Still loved it as a thoroughly entertaining if sloppy dinosaur adventure movie (though it had potential for greatness).

No. No! Don’t extinguish the Jurassic Part series yet.

Not until after we get one that’s 3D with T-Rexes swallowing the audiences, with drool coming down from the theater ceilings. (Yeah, the drool part won’t make it to the TV screens, but still...)

Rex Reed was in the greatest movie ever made: “Myra Breckinridge.”

Speaking of Jurassic Park caused me to momentarily recall my EX-wife and her mom.

I frequently ask God to restore to me those years I lost.

Jurassic “World” is a stupid Globalist world concept.

The movies are great, keep them coming.

But fans need overlook the fact that Globalism IS A LOSER.
The writers must not have gotten the memo.
Hollywood has really stupid people at the top. People hate globalism.

Based on what is coming out of Hollywood, this movie was not that bad. Try to get beyond the ignorance of script writers (that you can outrun a pyroclastic flow or that water would protect from 5,000 degree lava bombs, that white men are bad, and corporate greed causes bad things to happen) and allow yourself to be entertained. The movie did raise an issue about the ethics of cloning that is timely and will need to be dealt with in the real world.

Rex Reed is still alive?

That's what I thought. He'll be 80 in October. I thought he would be a lot older.

Hollywood is dead. They couldn’t make a good movie if their transvestite lover’s life depended on it.
