Zulu is a great movie. The movie is shown from the British point of view but shows the bravery of the Zulu soldiers charging breech loading rifles armed with spears and clubs. The descendant of the Zulu chief in charge of the Zulu army is in the movie.

Put down your spears and back away from the red coats. This should bring a call for background checks on spears, axes, swords and knives.

The Zulu warriors were portrayed as brave, courageous men as were the Welsh soldiers. What is wrong with these people.

Indeed a great movie that every young male should see. This
The descendant of the Zulu chief in charge of the Zulu army is in the movie.
should not be lost in the conversation. The Zulus themselves did not consider their depiction in the movie demeaning. (They may now, of course, after decades of being instructed why they should by the Gramscian destroyers.)

Zulu is one of the most historically accurate films ever made.
It shows, among other things, the devastating power of firing in volley.
It also shows great valor and dignity on both sides of the conflict. Well done film.

Never did understand why the Zulu’s just didn’t over run the position with sheer numbers.

I thought it was pretty good. from what I have read it was unusually accurate history.
Mainly a bunch of Welsh Engineers with a few other odds and ends.

Let’s pretend that “conflict” is something which has never happened throughout history. Let’s pretend there were no wars.
Because Reality is something we need to hide from.

“Zulu” was a superb film that was about the Battle of Rorke’s Drift; also an excellent film was “Zulu Dawn” that centered on the Battle of Isandlwana. The Zulu Army had just come from Isandlwana the day before arriving at Rorke’s Drift.
A lot of Victoria Crosses were awarded to then men at the Battle of Rorke’s Drift.

My niece was heading into the army after graduation. One of the gifts I gave her was a CD of the movie Zulu. Her brother was heading off to post graduate studies in chemistry and biology. I gave him a copy of the classic the Andromeda strain.

One of my favorite movies! I saw it at the theater as a little girl because my mom’s grandfather fought with the British in South Africa and the Sudan. One of the finest scores of any movie! Then I saw it when Martin Scorsese showed it at Radio City Music Hall in the 80s!
Tonight, I’m taking out the DVD. To hell with SJWs!
