The unthinkable has happened - Germany, reigning world champions, the consummate tournament team, are out of the World Cup at the group stage.
Their failure to beat South Korea on Wednesday afternoon, combined with Sweden's comfortable win over Mexico, saw Joachim Low's men exit Russia at the first hurdle - their first World Cup elimination at this point for 80 years.
Sweden won the group by beating Mexico 3-0 in the other match taking place at the same time, meaning Germany needed to defeat South Korea to get through in second place.

Germany missed numerous opportunities and were out of sync the entire match.
The one thing I noticed in all three matches was that all three opponents had much better team speed.

Muttie Merkel should have replaced these wusses with her strapping young Muslim refugees. As a side benefit, that would have given them a pastime other than raping German women.
I saw the first few minutes of Iran vs Spain before getting bored, but I saw both national anthems being played. In both cases, the players embraced each other in long lines and sang with heartfelt pride. This is what NORMAL looks like, despite the best efforts of our leftists to label this as evil.
The Germans could have knocked the Mexicans out of the tournament if they won this game. As it is Mexico is continuing on in the second spot for their group. Ever since I read that presidential front-runner Lopez-Obrador called invading the US a “human right,” I’ve been rooting against Mexico. I don’t know what happened to the German team. They have a lot of normally great players, and this was supposed to be an easy win for them.
Italy never in, Germany out, Brazil must be very nervous. France and Spain look good.

I saw that Germany pulled their goalie for the last 5 minutes. I didn’t know you could do that in soccer.
Similar to what they do on the US border Mexico backdoored their way into the World Cup quarterfinals without really earning it!
Germany was down by a goal and needed a tie to advance so they had to score. Like in hockey a team in a must goal situation pulling the goalie.
