Regardless of one’s personal stance on the issue, who were the doctors and surgeons who agreed to operate? Why now? Why not any time in the previous 5 years? What medical issues did they hope to address and what outcome were they seeking?
I cannot answer that. If I were an MD doctor rather than a PhD doctor, I would not do surgery on a corpse.
