This week cheap hot dogs are 49 cents a package for 8. Same brand at the $1 were ..... $1.

I DID get their 99 cent dogs that are like polish sausage, kinda.

WM has bread for two different prices in the same store.

White roundtop is as cheap as 85 cents a loaf. Hot dog buns also 8 for 85 cents. Paid $1.35 or so for a loaf at a different WM because the gas would have cost more.

Still, I’m gonna hit that WM for a couple packages of hot dog buns later I hope. The grocery store down there has a big package of chicken thighs with legs for $5. Maybe 8 of them. They sprinkle them with paprika or have them plain.

That and the dogs I might have $10 in to grill. Well, more like $8. Have to run around on the 4th so might be the 3rd of the 5th. They also have sausage and burger patties in a $5 pack, too.

I have 9 bottles of BBQ sauce - lol. I got them at 69 cents each for the last 4 and 4 of the previous were 4/$5.

So I NEED to BBQ something. Soon. At least on one of the bottles. Still have some leftover BBQ beans with cheap (99 cent) hot dogs. The BIG can of Van Camp’s pork and beans was on sale for $3 at WM because it had a dent. Paprika, a little Italian Dressing, some frozen green and red peppers from last year’s garden and some ketchup, along with 1/2 package (4 hot dogs) and the BBQ sauce. Probably no more than $6-$7 in the whole thing. BIG Dutch Oven of BBQ beans. Bottles of ketchup are often 99 cents or $1 at the grocery store on sale. I usually buy 3-4 at a time to restock (have a little prepper stuff on the side).

Big jar of grape jelly - $1.19 at one store close to where I am. I usually keep 2. 1 year exp date. Strawberry preserves are more like $2.79 but they all have late 2020 exp dates.

I need a new hobby, LOL.
