There were heroes on both sides in that conflict. Both sides had true gentleman and men of courage amongst their ranks.

I grew up 9 miles West of Gettysburg. My mother lived in Gettysburg all her early life. She and I often walked the battlefield. It is a sacred place to me. I am proud to say I had people on both sides of that conflict. Americans all.
