We’re waaaaay past that point in these parts. We call em “The Walking Democrats”.
They are literally de-humanizing themselves to the point where if things go really bad; taking them out will feel like a service to humanity rather than putting down a human being. More like a rabid animal that needs to be put out of their misery for the good of everyone including "it".
