DC has a law that no more than 20 or 25 people are allowed to demonstrate without a permit on the city sidewalks. When CodePink neglected to get a permit for their hatefest against Walter Reed at the WR gates every Friday night, a freeper Marine went to the police station and applied for one for the exact spot they were occupying, plus two other corners, and he was able to oust them from the gates and install the DC Clhapter of FreeRepublic.
