How do you guarantee the HOA members rights to “peaceful enjoyment” of the pool and guard against unattended guests.

I consider that an employer has the right to hire and fire employees.
And a pool attendant has the right to confirm the HOA members are in compliance with the rules of the pool.

Ii would never live in a a neighborhood with HOA. If my neighbor wants to put his car up on blocks, I won’t like it but it’s his yard and his car and his blocks. What it does to my “property value” is solely the chances I take buying in any given location. My neighbor does not have any obligation to keep up my property value.

You would think that a genuine HOA Pool Chairman would have more means at his disposal than to call the police on fellow HOA members.
He has the right to enforce the rules of the pool.

In this country it IS “all about you” if you are a member of a protected minority. Everything about this incident and its milieu is a demonstration that there is no private ownership of property in this country.One purchases certain privileges to land or structures but those privileges can be revoked at any time by government or HOA.
I think what you said sounds very reasonable, but explaining things rationally to people that thrive on this kind of thing is not going to work.
Late one night, after a long day of driving, I was turned away for a motel room (my three kids were with me) in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. I was told they were full when the parking lot was empty. I believe it could have possibly been because I am Anglo. I have no way to know or prove it, but the thought crossed my mind. I traveled another 100 miles for a room. My inconvenience was a lot more than what this woman at the pool experienced, but I moved on with my life and dealt with it and found a very nice southwestern-style room at a very good price in Las Vegas, NM. Had I been in an approved victim class, I could have made a video and caused a stink.
The guy was doomed once she made the video public. Apology or not. She’s probably very happy with herself that the man has lost his livelihood over being deemed a racist with no proof whatsoever. And, of course, on You Tube many are dragging in Trump. He’s also been deemed a racist with no proof whatsoever.
She had a right to be in the pool.
He had a right to call the police.
His employer had a right to fire him.

Exactly.
She purchased a membership in the HOA and along with that the right to pool access and even with all of that, they call the police on her.
There was a case in Oregon recently where two employees were fired for denying a black woman entry into a bakery. She showed up after they were closed. The owner knew the employees followed the rules, but because the woman was black, they lost their jobs.

The bakery’s statement says that even though it does not consider the employees to be racist and that they were following the business’s protocol of closing at 9 p.m., they were fired because “sometimes impact outweighs intent.” The bakery also says in the statement that the way the employees went about denying the woman service, “lacked sensitivity and understanding of the racial implications at work.”
Nope - she didn’t have a “right” to be in the pool. Not until she proved she was a homeowner and the gate key doesn’t count towards that.
That’s why the pool attendant had the right and authority to ask for it.

Here these were employees acting this way on the job (which the employer is directly responsible for). I understand the employee frustration here (been there) but I think the employer was in the right -not because it was racist but because it was a basic failing of customer service.
In this case though the employer is firing the employee for personal actions unrelated to his job. This was a political and racist hit.
I'm a member of my local credit union, thus a part-owner of the enterprise.
Yet somehow they insist that I show my ID every time I cash a check, make a deposit, apply for a loan, etc. etc.
Whom do I sue, Sue?
If you view the video, there does not appear to be any indication that an ID is necessary to enter the pool area. Chairman Bloom even admits that.
The sign at the pool does not say that an ID is required.
