Why do you think Schumer wants to delay the SCOTUS vote until AFTER the mid term elections?
Have the vote before the election - Trump wins either way.

2. Having a major issue to defeat dem senators - especially in Red States
You are 100% correct...Trump wins either way. Too bad the Democrat Party is in the process of self-destroying itself!!!
I know you all are going to think I’m insane or high on drugs...but, the only way for the Democrat Party to save itself from utter political destruction, is to return itself to a center right political party, which by the way, is what our country favors by an overwhelming majority.

Best thing Democrats up for election can do is vote for Trump’s pick. It is the only thing that might save their seat in November. Schumer is going to tell them to vote for the pick. It will be 59-41 so the rats can scream about not having 60 votes.
