Carol must be a dog lover (shown by her concern for the dogs who ate her lunch) Most would be fuming and angry. Next time she delivers to that particular location, dollars to donuts she will be carrying a few doggie treats in her truck or if not there, perhaps her pockets. :-)

I have only businesses on my route, but several of my residential courier friends carry a box of dog treats in their trucks. The pooches love it (and them).
I’m lucky enough to have a very kind postwoman who always carries doggie bacon treats in her vehicle.
Needless to say, my dogs jump for joy on the days when I receive a package:)
