About the only difference between the republicans and the Democratsa were that the democrats wanted more socialism than what the republicans wanted, but that was mainly to get elected.
The old Democrats were just like Zel miller of Georgia, very conservative but their self righteous interpretation of the constitution gave the socialists an in, so now we have a socialist party posing as democrats.
Trump is anything but a socialist.

That’s the way t should be. Don’t pay attention to what they say, but to what they do.
I was an extreme skeptic. He had a questionable political past. On the whole, I like what he’s done. Trump has been a much better president than I expected.

WELCOME, there were some AWFUL fights on this site over Cruz vs. Trump there was just SOMETHING about Cruz that grated on me!!! I will however tell you Trump has turned out to be FAR MORE conservative than I EVER DREAMED!!! He is going to be a better POTUS than Reagan, he IS the fighter we have ALL been waiting for!!!! Yes he is a little rough around the edges BUT so are MOST of the American people, that is WHY he is so loved by most OUTSIDE of the SWAMP!!!

There were you tube interviews of Trump where he stayed what he thought policies should be. He wrote a policy book in 2000. He had white paper policy statements on his campaign web site
