The 24-year-old was reported to prosecutors for negligent endangerment and fined €4,000 ($4,694). She's was dumb. That fine seems a bit high for something clearly not intended to be malicious. Especially since I hardly think she needs to be made an example of to warn other people who stumble across unexploded tank shells in the woods and want to bring them home. Proprietorial discretion is called for in my opinion.
