They don’t get dumber. They perform more poorly. That has been obvious for years. Lack of sleep, dehydration. Get a life and stop doing stupid studies.

“Researchers at Harvard University have discovered that a person’s brain works 13 percent slower when it has to operate in extreme heat. “

That explains so much about Guam!

“The team from Harvard’s T.H. Chan school of Public Health found that the students in non-air-conditioned buildings performed over 13 percent worse on both math and memory tests than their air-conditioned classmates.”

Could be because the students in the UnAC dorm were not getting good sleep? DOH

Explains why central America are all idiots and never created anything. I’ve always said the closer to the equator the lazier you are. But then along came AC and people could move south.

Interesting - I wonder if longer term exposure could have a longer term impact.

Maybe lethargic is a better word? We all slow down a bit in the heat.

I began to research the oxygen levels based on heat, humidity etc., wondering if that might explain less oxygen getting to our brains, lungs and heart.

Will report my findings!!!!!

Maybe they get dumber because when it gets really hot, they drink lots of beer.
