Looking at American media coverage I see no criticism of the silly Trump balloon. But what would the reaction be if a group created a mocking balloon of B Hussein Obama?

The media would immediately cry "racism". But mocking Trump is okay with the Fake News.

Frankly, the Trump balloon doesn't hurt him...it solidifies his base and moves people into his corner for American who don't like seeing their President (of any party) mocked.

The Trump balloon needed a permit from the city of London, which meant getting approval from the Mayor. Sadiq Khan made a high and mighty statement about how he gave the approval because of his belief in “non-violent free speech.” I wonder, would Sadiq have given approval to a balloon caricaturing him as an ISIS fighter or a suicide bomber in the name of “non-violent free speech”?
