I watched 'In Search of Hitler'.

Search of Hitler makes a good case he was able to escape

Google can't seem to find any show from the History Channel called "In Search of Hitler". They did apparently have a show called "Hunting Hitler".

If you’re referring to History Channel’s series, I agree. They presented almost irrefutable and clear evidence of Hitler escaping to South America.

Translation: I would believe anything I see on TV.

Here's an interesting comment from Quora, answering the question: How accurate is the History Channel's program Hunting Hitler? Is there any evidence Hitler escaped in 1945?:

"The history channel has gone downhill dramatically in the previous 15 years. They have shows about hunting Big foot, hunting the Loch Ness Monster, hunting aliens, and supporting crazy theories about ancient aliens impacting our civilizations. This should give you a good idea of how accurate a show about hunting for a man who was the most famous well known person of the 20th century, who somehow was never photographed or credibly reported on after 1945, is."

From the Wikipedia article on Hunting Hitler:

"The show has been criticized by Variety for "capitalizing on the American public's fascination with Hitler to produce a show based on a theory, while providing no evidence to substantiate the theory."

Since you have never watched it you sure know a lot about the show. Where is his body?

Yeah, my bad. I meant ‘Hunting Hitler’, not ‘In Search of Hitler’. I guess the error was reflective of the credibility of the show.
