I’m not diabetic and am only about 5 lbs. overweight but I went on a Keto diet for 2 weeks and felt great.

I don’t know why but I HAVE to nap after lunch, it just weighs me down, and I, basically, just pass out for an hour. Some days I just eat one meal a day in the evening if I had a lot to do.

When I was on the Keto diet I never took one nap and had so much energy. I got off because we went on a 2 week vacation and plan on starting back as soon as I have a red enchilada and a green enchilada, so in a few days.

Might be the wide blood sugar swings with the carbs. Also, there are intestinal issues. Make sure that you get lots of fiber too.
