How many people actually read the newspaper anymore, let alone the letters to the editor.
I would bet the average age of newspaper readers is at least 70. The future does not bode well for the business model.
I haven’t read a complete newspaper in probably five years. Free Republic is my primary news source and I can read hundreds of articles that I otherwise would not have access to if it was print media.
Soros can still target the over 70 crowd. Some of them rooted for Jerry Brown over McGovern and went to the Human Be-In to see Timothy Leary and Allen Ginsberg. Now they are over 70 and leftover hippies still watching for the dawn of socialism to unite the working class. Their love beads vibrate at the thought.
Let’s hope so. I want to see Warren Buffet lose on his newspaper bets.
“I would bet the average age of newspaper readers is at least 70.”
And I would bet you are wrong. Most seniors of which I am one are online, possess amazing life experience, know the media lies, don’t buy newspapers and find newsprint really hard to read....
