Let’s not forget, very few Baby-Boomers or GenX, or GenY have anything themselves.
Instead of the leftist diatribe of their schooling how about a basic course in fundamental economics and practical management of finances. Also I’m keen on having automatic enrollment for young employees to contribute to a retirement plan. Even small amounts in their 20’s can add up significantly over the decades.

They (the greatest and silent generations) NEVER thought they would live this long. My 95 year old MIL tells me that a couple times a week. She also thinks she’s been going to mass every week (she stopped when she turned 90.)
The entire financial burden that the country is facing is way out of whack with the plans that were put in place since the 1950s.
