Does dark matter matter?

Turn off the light and step on your kid’s toy with your bare foot. Yep. It exists.
It’s all well and good to call it something. To fill in the gaps of human understanding at this time.
People who believe in God, know that He holds it all together. We may learn more about how God does it in the future. Until then. Dark matter.
If these “particles” are what’s needed to make the math work, then there is something to them (no pun intended).
It may not be a single particle, but a group of them that congregate together. The number are what they are and if the behavior is predictable then they are not fudge factors.
