There cannot be a gay gene. Sex and gender identity, orientation, etc happens during a very short period in utero. We still don’t know what causes it to go haywire.

Anyway a genetic characteristic that inhibits\discourages the organism from procreating isn’t going to survive many generations. That to me is why the whole idea of a “gay gene” is ridiculous!
