I'm a guy, so I did not notice the purse. I had to go back and look again to see what you were talking about. BTW, I agree; the purse is too big. The heels are also too high for my taste, but - no matter what she wears or carries - she's as beautiful as the media pretended Michelle Obama was.
If you’re a guy, then you don’t realize how many totally essential items women have to carry in their purses. A small suitcase might do it, but she’s compromising and carrying a purse, for appearance’s sake...
The purse is for carrying her own books and extra stuff, because she does not spend the taxpayers dollars on assistants to do it for her.

And for people complaining about the stilettos - it is her fashion statement. You better get over it because it is not going to change. It makes her look and feel great when she wears them. I’ve seen less complaining about the Mooch’s belts than Melania’s pretty slippers.
