I think it’s because they’re impressed. She’s about the most fashionable and sophisticated wife since Jackie Kennedy, and I think the Europeans like the look. And don’t think this isn’t helping Trump, because it is - style and appearance are very important in Europe.

I was never impressed with Jackie.
Of course I was only 10 when JFK was assassinated so that might color my view.
Even though I know people must be judged by the era in which they lived I think Melania is, by far, the most beautiful First Lady of all time.
As far as being of value to the country Melania and Dolly Madison are on a level of their own.
