I am workinbg on restoring my 67 Camaro convertible right now. I pulled it out of a junkyard in 1977 for $250. Has a bad torque converter now, but vrrrrrooooom!

My other car is a 1957 Bel Air. Built like a tank.

Is that Bel Air the one with the fab-U-luss fins? If so, that's what my parents had when I was growing up. It was soaped one night and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why someone would begin washing their car and then, realizing it was the wrong car, fail to rinse off the soap. I was "unclear on the concept."

Oops! As I was typing this I realized you wrote "Bel Air" and I was thinking "Belvedere." Ours was a Plymouth Belvedere. But I clearly remember seeing Bel Airs regularly as a kid.
