I remember all the hysteria about the bird flu. My employer easily spent hundreds of thousands of dollars overreacting to it. I’m not saying the threat of this virus is a farce or a hoax, but it’s hard to take it too seriously when scientisst have been promising gloom-and-doom for as long as I can remember.
