Does Jerry start building an Ark every time it rains?
(It would be a better investment than that train)

Wood burns when hit with an ignition point above 451 deg.
That is all the fires really prove.
BTW, I know for a fact that CA is paying people to walk power lines looking for overhanging branches.
The same that burned Napa last year.

Many of these fires are deliberately set, IMHO.

Dont blame the mismanagement of Commiefornia on the climate.
I dont see why they havent just passed a law making wild fires illegal. It works for so many other things.

I thought the wildfires were more because of the dead brush still in those areas left by the environmentalists?

So? Climates change. Mankind has little or no effect on that. We can only stop whining about it and adapt. If you don't like the climate, it will change again. But that might be after our spoiled generation is all gone. ;-b
"Brown said that only a month into the current budget year California has already spent $125 million, a quarter of its fire budget."
Now, that is caused by the fascist commies of mankind. It's called anthropomorphic theft.

Wildfires are part of the natural lifecycle of bush and forested areas. The trouble is that people in the last number of years keep on moving into these areas, and that a great deal due to real estate in places like Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and certainly Vancouver (in British Columbia) keeping on getting more and more extremely expensive.

No Jerry, it has nothing to do with climate change. It has to do with stupid environmentalists who know nothing about being a good steward of the land. Allow grazing to clear out the disastrous tinder, thin the forests, you have healthier trees, more fire resistance and the added benefits of jobs and building materials.
Guarding the environment means more than just standing around forbidding use.

Wildfires are CA karma for their idiotic “environmental” regulation that do not allow control burns.
Wild fires are part of nature's cycle.
If man will not the problems, Mother Nature will.

Sixty years ago Public Service announcements with SMOKEY THE BEAR warned us that EVERY YEAR wildfires in the continental USA (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) burned over enough acreage to cover the state of Louisiana.
That would be 25 MILLION,500 thousand acres. Has the USA reached half the quota yet?

Uh, jer. Keep your friggin' smoke in your own state. We don't need no stinkin' smoke. At least some of it has blown out of Reno for a day or two. But, Hot August Nights kicks off next Monday so work on keepin the smoke confined to the Cali side of the state line. Prayers up forr the fire fighters and those affected by the fires. 🚒🚑🚨🙏👍🏼🇺🇸

B$ flag raised!
Still remember standing on the roof with dad, hosing down the roof while the fires a ridge over were cresting the top. That was about 45 years ago. Since then, seldom a year goes by without a kalifornia wildfire or several in the news. Envirowackos help with this, blocking what would normally be done to manage areas susceptible to combustion.
Silly land of Oz!

So the fires we had in So Cal EVERY SUMMER from the time I was a child were just aberrations?
Jerry, it is called WEATHER. I the summer, it becomes hot and dry and you get Santa Ana winds. Every year. Since before humans even existed.
This is just as stupid as saying hurricanes during hurricane season are the result of global warming.
