Honestly, I had READ of such things, but I never thought they would do it to me. Now that they HAVE, many friends are describing similar censorship, such as erasing of posts, or not letting their friend “see” messages sent to them, that have happened to THEM! The “forbidden” website in question is of course www.codeisfreespeech.com

Every patriotic American ought to be done with Fakebook - it sows nothing but chaos and confusion. There are other ways to share - plain old e mail still works.

I understand how you feel.

And I am not going say “Don’t use Facebook” because I don’t, and have never used it. For me to say that is the equivalent of people saying “Don’t watch NFL Football, you’re not a patriot if you do!” if they don’t watch football. Easy for them to say because it isn’t hard for the them to do.

So I feel that way with Facebook. It would be easy virtue signaling for me to simply say it is unpatriotic to use it, since I don’t.

That said, I feel that Facebook should do what they want. They are a private company, and I don’t want the government involved.

I have been on FR for going on 15 years. We delete posts all the time here. I don’t want the government coming on Free Republic and telling us what we can and cannot say, what we can and cannot delete.

Facebook is now open about their censorship. If you use it, you need to understand what the product is and what goes along with it.
