I see hired Goats a lot over here. They are usually placed on hillsides, in the valley or along steep inclines next to freeways and left to nibble all day long. Ivy vines, Ice plants, French Broom, towers of Anise, Queen Annes Lace and various Crab Grasses are there free for the taking. All you can eat!

I’m always surprised the goats don’t wander away into the neighborhoods more often. I’m always relived when I don’t hear about anybody letting their unleashed
Pit Bull dogs run after the goats.

You left out their specialty: POISON IVY.

Park services in this area use them to clear out poison ivy without using an herbicide that kills everything.

I have heard that they also enjoy kudzu.
