It doesn’t even matter anymore. It’s not like people are going to come running back if they’re pandered to, most people find that even more insulting than the thing that ran them off anyway. Bye-bye NFL, hello snow-shoeing and other winter sports.
Interesting that ratings were down, but this is a meaningless exhibition game. We have to wait for regular season games to see ratings, and attendance at games.
I forget about the Hall of Fame Game almost every year. Funny, since I went to the Hall of Fame a bunch growing up in northern Ohio and even played a couple games on that field in high school.
Yeah, I wouldn’t put much emphasis in a single NFL game that has *zero* meaning for the season, played in the middle of summer.
I used to be a big fan. I opened this thread because I wasn’t aware they had started back up this year. Lol

I will only watch games played where the Dallas Cowboys are participating. Perhaps partly because I have been a fan of Dallas since they came into the league in 1960, but also because Jones is the only one to stand up to the PC crowd..
I just couldn’t miss Brian Urlacher going into the Hall of Fame, so I watched the beginning.
After that, there was a great re-run of Home Improvement.

Me too. Life long Packer fan. I used to spend literally thousands a year on the NFL.
Travel to a game with family, NFL Sunday Ticket. NFL Game Pass.
Last year cancelled Sunday Ticket and Game Pass. Collateral damage to Directv ( used it since 1996). Cancelled Sirius radio. No game ( went to a college game instead), collateral damage to airline, hotel, restaurants, bar. No NFL merch presents. Didn’t watch any games after week 3.
Frankly is they cut out the SJW crap, I might watch occasionally, but it will never be the same.
Leagues for young kids are already drying up due to the concussion issue. Tom Brady only has a few years left. In about ten years the NFL will be off major broadcast networks.
