Commission Launched by President Trump Finds No Widespread Voter Fraud in 2016 Election

PORTLAND, Maine) — The now-disbanded voting integrity commission launched by the Trump administration to investigate the 2016 presidential election uncovered no evidence to support the president’s claims of widespread voter fraud, according to an analysis of administration documents released.

In a letter to Vice President Mike Pence and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who are both Republicans and led the commission, Maine Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap said the documents show there was a “pre-ordained outcome” and that drafts of a commission report included a section on evidence of voter fraud that was “glaringly empty.”

“It’s calling into the darkness, looking for voter fraud,” Dunlap, a Democrat, told The Associated Press. “There’s no real evidence of it anywhere.”

Republican President Donald Trump convened the commission to investigate the 2016 presidential election after making unsubstantiated claims that between 3 million and 5 million ballots were illegally cast. Critics, including Dunlap, reject his claims of widespread voter fraud.

TIME is such an objective source, /S.

IIRC, voting information requested from the dodgiest, most Democrat controlled states, was denied.

Does anyone know if this ever changed? Or, did this inquiry fall apart for lack of serious data, which of course, a liberal outlet like TIME would call a conclusion?

Portland, Maine, lol? Oh, that was gonna work out well.

But I guess it is now proven that Russians didn’t vote in our election, right?

Except wide-spread voter fraud was found. California is one of the worst offenders of this. Texas too.

You have to investigate properly and look in the right places. Wonder how many “motor voter” registrations were actual citizens and what percentage of those registered had a vote recorded. Suspect somehow those “moter voters” all somehow voted.

I bet if Voter ID is ever implemented, the Democrat vote would drop like 5+ million

I would like to see what the media says about voter fraud lol

Also factor in the belief of liberals that von Pantsuit was a shoo-in so they felt no need to cheat.

Totally different from what we can expect in November.....

What a fraudulent headline by the fake news Time.

The commission was forced to disband because none of the states where the massive fraud most likely occurred would cooperate, so the commission didn’t come out with any report or conclusion.

Yet a Democrat looks at the fact that the commission didn’t have any data because the states wouldn’t provide any and concludes that the commission concluded there was no fraud.

Trump is absolutely right. The media is dishonest and corrupt to the max.

I suspect the commission was disbanded when they discovered enough evidence to begin a criminal investigation of conspiracy to commit voter fraud.

Soros has poured money into the campaigns of state level Secretaries of State. Too many apparatciks at the state and local level. I still believe Trump lost in NH because of Massholes coming over the border, but the Democrat SOS helped cover tracks.

Many states didn't even cooperate with the commission.

And notice the word...."widespread"......

Is widespread....this big....or....this big. It's like "IS".

I seem to recall they shut this down for reasons other than no evidence. They shut it down because it was flawed, lacked authority, fought by Democrats and courts. No conclusion reached beyond instances of vote fraud that were reported or prosecuted. I don’t think they or anyone even once reported that any specific set of votes were 100% valid or perfect.

I walk into a California polling place in November 2016.
I tell them my name is William Tell Overature.
William Tell Overature is indeed registered to vote (but he never has.)
I pull out my drivers license as ID but no one wants it.
I dutifly sign the register “William Tell Overature”.
I’m given a ballot and vote the straight Dem Ticket.

Does anyone not believe this isn’t common practice?

Of course it will have no credibility and will be trusted and believed by no one in the media/left.

Just underscoring the brilliance of the plan which began with AG Sessions recusing himself from the Russia thing, as otherwise it would have been the same kind of charade.

Yeah. Five percent may not be “widespread,” but it’s influential if you do it right — or wrong.

One republican running for New Hampshire Congress sent out first class postcards to just about eveone in his district. Thousands came back as undeliverable as addressed. After investigation, a few thousand we’re found no one at those addresses. Last I heard nothing has been done.

A number of states that are controlled by democrats refused to release their voter rolls. This finding of not much voter fraud is bs
