My second favourite Blackhawk after Tony Esposito, and still in my top 10 list of favourite players. Gretzky, Messier, Cournoyer, Belliveau, Keon, Sittler, Howe, Sakic.
I was also a big Chicago Blackhawks and Mikita fan. Their Central HL team was the Dallas Blackhawks where goalie Esposito played a couple of years before being called up to the NHL. .......I began going to the Dallas games in the early ‘60s and really enjoyed seeing the NHL players playing some injury rehab time there, as well as some of our favorites being called up to the big team and being able to watch them on TV.
