If Ford would go back to this design, I’d buy one.

I keep waiting for GM to come out with a brand new materials, absolute duplicate of the '57 Chevy.
You can always add on stupid stuff if you want, but using modern technology (audio, f'rinstance) carbon fiber (maybe) and exact duplicate molds ... I believe a '57 Chevy Belaire would sell big.
Just a car with a simple AM/FM radio and etcetera for about 20K?
Who wouldn't want one ?

I didn't read your reply before I posted right after you.
Great minds think alike.
How about a '49 Ford pick-up ?

I’d like a carbon fiber Ford Pinto.
C’mon people, think big!

Mustang outselling camaro almost 2 to 1.Calling the dodge charger a pony car is quite a stretch.Pony cars are 2 doors not 4.

That’d go over like a fart in church with owners of real ‘57s and purists.

I will get another 67 Cougar and keep it.
The spouse can pound sand.
My 67 wound up being sold to solve a problem and keep the peace. Long story.

Today’s Mustang GT, looked at with fresh eyes, is supercar gorgeous (without the striping), and at less than $40k for 460 hp, is a world class bargain. Still available with a manual, although it’s slower than the auto.

There are a number of songs about Mustangs, ‘Mustang Sally’ being the original. Inspired by Aretha Franklin’s (Mustang Mama) desire to have one.

The "Bullitt" edition looks pretty sweet. Sound pretty sweet, too, from the video reviews I've seen and heard. Mustangs are very nice cars these days - even the snobby European car magazines are intrigued.
