Fully agree. They have turned it into a weird cult at this point. And many deserving actions are not awarded. Also this happened in 2002. It is now 2018. This did not need a 16 year investigation. Imagine taking till 1961 to decide some man in the battle of Iwo Jima deserved the award.
They cheapen it by making it this stingy. I think some of it is that the military despises awarding bravery in an era that is suppressing everything masculine in the military.
I’d like to see a “MOH week” in our schools.
Living recipients could speak to a class (with q and a)and a vid of it could be sent to every class to see.
