I detest the NFL, its players and owners. I am done.
Only when we turn off our TV's. The Left eats our lunch when it comes to "protests" and activism, we need a national movement and this is a good place to start. It's easy, if they don't love our country then we turn off the TV.
Yep, if half the country turns off the TV, they will notice.
We hear pretty much hate the NFL however Trump is still doing this to provide a laser pointer for the media to chase around if they get distracted by if he gets tons of work done in the background.
In fact, 45 could HIRE this man to be the representative to the league on the matter, NFLPA too.
Question 1:”Go ahead and explain to me how these protests are important and further your cause.”
They start talking. He reaches under the table and takes one of his prosthetic legs and puts it on the table.
“Please . . . continue.”
They start talking again.
He reaches under the table, puts the SECOND one on the table.
Silence.
“Oh, you were finished? Well allow me to retort . . . “
If we don’t watch... provided we are a Neilsen Family.. then networks cannot charge as much for ads.
My bet is they cannot do much without making it worse. So it look like another NFL season where I will refuse to watch the teams...I know it is my choice as a way to protest. You have your way. I cannot think of a better way to protest.
these (vastly-overpaid) players are DISGUSTING!
Then he pulls out a picture of Arlington National Cemetery and says, “THEY stood for the flag and at the very least, I will because they no longer can.”
Won’t watch them and change the channel whenever there’s any NFL news or games. They can go to Holy Hell.
Curt Marsh was an Oakland Raider, and lost his leg to injury from football. He’s now a motivational speaker, and he’s spoken in local churches here. Great story.
He was lying in bed feeling sorry for himself in the hospital, contemplating suicide. He heard this whispy laughter in the hall.
Curious, he got onto his crutches and discovered the source - it was some 7 year old in the late stages of recovering from burns over most of her body, including her head. She was talking to her parents, and she was giggling at what they were telling her.
He went back to his room and wept at his stupidity and weakness. If a 7 year old with burns over their entire head can find humor in anything, he could deal with being one-legged.
A transformational sermon for me. I adore my problems. They are so manageable by comparison.
They support cop killers and mass murderers like Castro and Che as they support kaepernick who does and who has $10’s of millions at the age of 30 playing a game for half a year.
They do not protest the other 6 months as they are partying with hookers.
Search results: 2014 season. On June 4, Kaepernick signed a six-year contract extension with the 49ers, worth up to $126 million, including $54 million in potential guarantees, and $13 million fully guaranteed.
Pretty sure we all understand that. Just don’t like folks who are disrespectful. Wanna protest? Fine. I can too... BYE!
Add another 9 hours per week of more productive activity during NFL season.
(3 games)
You know, I’ve been thinking about that. Don’t the big cable companies know which channel we are accessing at any one time? Even the streaming services would know. There are enough computer chips in those boxes that they should even know when your dog goes out to poop.
The NFL-Rebels w/o a Cause are once again falling into The Donald’s trap. Their impulse to reject whatever a white president says they should do only drives more viewers away from a program they used to watch to escape politics.
I’ll make a point of eating there and thanking them.
The media in Miami has this as their TOP STORY today—well paid NFL players disrespecting the nation. Of course the media paints the behavior as the kneelers as “taking a stand”.
Spewriffic.
Actually, I think DVRs provide anonymous viewing information to the industry. In other words, someone is discovering x% of households are watching Show A, but they may not know whether Mr. Smith’s family is one of those households.
