So it’s okay and cool to hate the people who post these hateful worthless dog-hating threads?

Cool.

Pit bulls do not need a motive.

In before the Norski flame attacks and pitbull style hatred.

Now that Boomer is here I'm in AFTER the Norski flame attacks and pitbull style hatred.

It would be appreciated if those posting would have respect for the victim and the way she perished. Thank you, Norski An unnecessary and demeaning admonition to people who matter. I am more interested in the human garbage who owned those dogs... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I apologise. Please forgive me. I meant no disrespect.

I believed that I should say this today because of the large number of personal attacks that come so often from pit bull advocates when an article on the breed is posted - especially when, as it does so often, the article references an attack, a death resulting from an attack, or statistics on the breed, or its danger and unsuitability as a household pet.

Any owner of a pit bull should face criminal penalties if their dog kills or maims. . regardless of the circumstances.

[I think some pit bulls are downright dangerous, it’s just not easy to always tell. But certainly the larger ones with the large jaws seem genetically programmed to clamp down on something and that something is going to be mighty hurt or dead when it happens.]

If obedience school were made mandatory for both dogs and owners, I think we’d have far fewer fatalities. Having said that, you can’t completely train dog and/or human aggression out of a line that is bred for dog and/or human aggression. What some breeders have done is create lines incorporating the most vicious dogs with other vicious dogs to the point that you have wolves in dogs’ bodies. Since we have no way of reading their minds, any dog that engages in an unprovoked attack (i.e. non-self-defense-related) on a human must be euthanized, no matter how minor the bite.

You have an unhealthy obsession bordering on some type of disorder. Seek help before you harm yourself or your loved ones.

I did stay off off of the threads of the article yesterday regarding the Michael Vick rescue dog Ray, as requested by you, as well as several others. It would be helpful if you would post opinions without personal insults. This is an article about a death. Thank you, Norski

] Pit Bulls are a menace and far more violent than other breeds. ]

Pit bulls remind me of “tamed wolves” they can be sweet but those high levels of cortisol in their system can make them SNAP at ANY time for ANY reason.

I am okay with pit bulls existing as breed, but they should be tested for cortisol levels and those with high levels should be neutered/spayed and only the ones with lower levels of cortisol allowed to reproduce. it would fix the problem in a few generations.

Info about cortisol levels and domestication:

Results

Russian scientists achieved a population of domesticated foxes that are fundamentally different in temperament and behavior from their wild forebears. Some important changes in physiology and morphology became visible, such as mottled or spotted colored fur. Some scientists[citation needed] believe that these changes obtaining from selection for tameness are caused by lower adrenaline production in the new population, causing physiological changes within relatively few generations yielding genetic combinations not present in the original species. This indicates that selection for tameness, e.g. did not flee, produces changes that are related to the emergence of other dog-like traits, e.g. raised tail, coming into heat every six months rather than annually. These seemingly unrelated changes are a result of pleiotropy.[1]p. 5

The project also bred the least-tameable foxes to study social behavior in canids. These foxes avoided human contact as do their wild behavioral phenotypes.[8][3]

Similar research was carried out in Denmark with American mink.[9]

Appreciate you posting. Not a pit fan in the least.

The problem with pits, is they don’t come with an “off” switch. They don’t stop until whatever they attack is dead, dismembered, and sometimes partially eaten. It’s like owning a mountain lion.

Correction; your threads are nothing more than hate-threads designed to elicit an emotional response from fellow dog-haters; particularly those who are afraid of everything; especially Pit Bulls. You should go to meetings like an alcoholic. You need help.

These threads serve no other purpose than to earn you money with the click bait links you post and push your hate on the Internet. That's it. Nothing good ever comes from any of these dog-hating threads. Nothing at all yet you persist in trashing FR. Why?

You can paint it as pretty as you like but lipstick on a pig is still a pig.

I recommend Wasp Spray. Longer stream, easier to aim & stops them in their tracks.
