In her diverse and thriving career, Katherine Legge has raced GT cars, IndyCars, and IMSA sports cars. Shes competed in the Indianapolis 500 and stood on the podium in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
And this weekend the popular and talented Brit will make her NASCAR debut in the Xfinity Series Rock n Roll Tequila 170 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Saturday, 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Loved Danica I hope this girl does well there are a few woman drivers on the way up Hailie Deegan is going to do well
She is a much better driver than DP, but never got the sponsors.
I remember she had a nasty crash in 2006 when the wing on the back of her car came off in a corner. The car completely disintegrated, except for the cockpit, an she was only mildly injured.
I’ve only watched her in Indy cars and I guessed she wasn’t in the best equipment. I hope she land a ride in good equipment.
Im still waiting for a female to race motocross
Its fine being in a steel cage going 220
Try big jumps with nothing but you and the machine
Kudos to the girl for trying to make it in a mans world tho
How long before the bikini shots peddling domain sites, Nair, whatever ?
I’ve seen her racing in the Rolex 24 a few times. Not bad in a field of largely not bad drivers with some notably excellent drivers. She drove the silver dildo one year, which my brother and I found to be hilarious.
Add in MotoGP open class.
NASCAR is so very gay
She looks soft and overweight and out of shape
I’d like to see Her “Race Face.”
Race is on now; haven’t heard what position she’s in.
Token.
Until a female becomes successful and wins championships Shirley Muldowney remains the standard by which other female drivers are measured. She did that and more and in my book was awesome.
Oh yeah. I spent a lot of time around drag racing in the 60’s and 70’s. Shirley was both good and a babe.
She just blew her engine and is out, with 9 laps to go.
I saw Legge win the Toyota undercard race “Atlantic Series” way back when, 2005 or so, at the Long Beach Grand Prix.
“Oh yeah. I spent a lot of time around drag racing in the 60s and 70s. Shirley was both good and a babe”
Cha Cha!
I never saw her race but being a native Southern Californian growing up in the 70’s I always remember the Radio promos and Sports reports from the local Drag races featuring Shirley “Cha Cha” Muldowney kicking butt.
“NASCAR is so very gay”
The fans best not find out where
you are;).....you’ll have a million
empty beer bottles in your front yard.
