She had one the cutest faces to ever exist. And there was a lot of puppy love going around for Marie. But at last she lived on the morning side of the mountain, and I lived on the Twilight side of the hill.

The best part of the Twilight Side of the Hill is when the Deep Purple falls over sleepy garden walls, and the stars begin to twinkle in the sky.

(I found it crrepy that a brother and sister act would sing such a romantic song together).

Late in 1974, Donny & Marie Osmond released a version of the song which hit number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent one week at number one on the Easy Listening chart. The song charted equally well in Canada.

It was a time when not everyone was thinking the worst. And it was a much better time. How many family acts even exist today.
