You do understand that gout is caused by a genetic inability to efficiently metabolize the purines in protien, which causes elevated uric acid in the bloodstream, leading to formation of crystals right? It’s not something you “catch” and eating meat and drinking beer makes things worse, not better.
Well, 1st off, I am not a dietician nor do I play one on TV.
I don’t drink beer. People with long histories of depression that drink alcohol ain’t too smart in my book. I have ZERO issues on this way of eating. That includes zero gout issues. I had it once. I changed my diet & it went away 30+ years ago.
Today, gout is not on my radar. :)
