I can only think of one from the 90’s:

GREENDAY

As a side note. My 20 year old son(I am 55) listens to the music I grew up on. He loves the Talking Heads, Dire Straits, Meatloaf, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, etc. He does not like Rap or Hip/Hop or Country or pop artists. Most of the CD’s he has in his car are my old ones.

yep, to name a few on my list as well. The fact is, thee folks were great legends. They practiced daily. The new generation tends to avoid hard work and practice and that is reflected in many of the "artists" who spend more time at the clubs or the beach than in the studio or practicing.
