The whole article is hard to read because of the description of extent of damage done to Zooey. Its put bull supporters who are to blame. This dog had a history of biting other animals and was still allowed to be adopted out.
I am a realist not a dog hater and I support these posts 100% .
I am at work, literally walking distance from PAWS.
Volunteers walk the dogs past my workplace every day...................
Thank you, Norski.
Half the solution is recognizing the problem. Keep it up.
Once again, pit bull math:
1 pit bull + 1 9mm = problem solved
You just can’t stop the Dog of Peace® (or those, who tirelessly defend them).
I didn't know that there were any animal shelters around that would put out unfixed animals.
Finally a hint of common sense, but you missed the boat...badly.
The issue you should be addressing here is not as the article you post asserts, something I pointed out about your posts last night.
1. Shelters are not supposed to be adopting out unfixed animals
2. The shelter should have been put out of business after the first case,
3. The people who got this dog were too dumb to do their homework and ask amy questions whatsoever,
4. It should not be possible for a shelter to get insurance without an exclusion for certain terrier breeds (i.e. pit bull) without very specific license to vet the dogs.
